eVisas and NRPF – issues and practical advice for caseworkers

eVisas are not always updated to reflect a successful Change of Conditions application in a timely manner. This means that people are not able to access the support they are entitled to and need.

The following briefing outlines our experiences and engagement with the Home Office on the issue. It also provides guidance on steps that you can take if this happens to you, including how to:

  1. Apply for public funds using a Change of Conditions (CoC) acceptance letter.
  2. Report errors via the official eVisa error form.
  3. Escalate cases by completing a simple referral form.
